We visited the Kilikya, Gümüşgöze, and Küçükkuyu Women's Collective soup kitchens in June and had individual discussions with the workers there about their own needs and the needs of the soup kitchens. Following these discussions, we made short video recordings for the soup kitchen workers to be able to voice their current situations. After the editing of the video recordings is completed, it is aimed to be widely disseminated in July.
During the soup kitchen visits in June, the most pressing needs of the soup kitchen workers were conveyed to be psychosocial support. As a result, the SAHA team organized the "IV. Soup Kitchen Meeting" focusing on psychosocial support under the categories of Soup Kitchen and Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS). The meeting was hosted by Kilikya Soup Kitchen and led by Banu from the Action Network MHPSS Circle. It took place on July 8, 2023, with the participation of 23 people from 6 different soup kitchens.
